Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Apply Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on troubleshooting and dive deeps for controls engineering issues, supporting automation engineers and technicians to investigate the root cause and planning actions to eliminate/mitigate the downtime of critical assets
Collaborate with building Operations, Operations Engineering / PAVE teams, FC Start-up Team, IT/Software teams, ACES team, and Safety to support MHE systems optimization and project implementation
Understand, maintain and troubleshoot pharmacy specific equipment, material handling control systems, including Fanuc Robots, PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical control panels / distribution systems
Monitor RME / MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations
Provide escalation support to automation engineers and technicians, during and after business hours, troubleshooting locally and remotely, to ensure that all hardware or controls software within the building is repaired on time
Appropriately escalate downtime situations to vendors or leadership for support to restore equipment operation.
Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes to drive continuous improvement
Perform and analyze building System Assessments to enhance pharmacy equipment and material handling system performance
Communicate technical issues, corrective actions, and project timelines clearly to senior leadership, operations staff and maintenance teams
Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
Climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
Travel 30-50%
