At our lab in Hamme, Belgium we are looking for a Work preparator position within our production departement.

As a Work Preparator, you are the crucial link between the production department and cross-functional project teams. You are responsible for preparing, planning, and monitoring both internal production processes and external deliveries. You ensure seamless execution of production activities within a machining environment where processes such as turning, milling, welding, and sheet metal are applied to manufacture parts.

Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to gather and provide information on delivery dates and technical requirements.
• Plan and monitor our in-house production planning and external delivery dates.
• Create production routings to provide the shop floor with the correct production steps.
• Ordering raw materials for our in-house production
• Pre- and post calculation of production timings
• Work closely with engineering teams to comprehend product features, specifications, and functionalities.
