Job Description

Position Summary The acoustic analyst will collect, organize, process and manually vet bat acoustic data collected by CNHP researchers and other partners.

Essential Job Duties

1. Organization of bat acoustic data collected by other researchers

2. Analysis of bat acoustic data to identify bat sound files to species using specialized software,

Conditions of Employment Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires). Valid Driver’s License. Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.

Supervision - no supervision duties

Minimum Qualifications B.S. in Biology, Zoology, Wildlife Biology or related field and bat acoustic analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Biology, Zoology, Wildlife Biology or related field and 6 months of bat acoustic analysis experience

Salary Range

$20.00 an hour
