Position Summary
The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Columbia University student to assist with federally funded projects focusing on HIV prevention and management.
Responsibilities
The primary duties will involve:
- Administering assessments to research participants
- Assisting in research protocol implementation
- Providing support with literature reviews & data collection
- Assisting with manuscript preparation
- Assisting with community outreach and recruitment (social media & in person)
- Other duties as assigned
This is a temporary position with a flexible work schedule.
This is a grant funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent communication, organizational, and database entry/management skills
- Quantitative or qualitative data collection experience
- Interest in psychology, clinical research, epidemiology, social science research, and/or HIV prevention
- Willingness to work weekends/ evenings
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
