The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of IT CSS WRAFT Delivery team, you will support core Clearing and Settlement applications for DTC, NSCC and FICC as well as Wealth Management & Insurance Services will be managed by this group, which will also oversee Master Reference Data.
What you’ll do
- Designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures that meet the application's requirements.
- Selecting appropriate cloud services and components based on the project's needs.
- Writing code for cloud-native applications, considering factors like scalability, availability, and performance.
- Utilizing frameworks and tools suitable for cloud development.
- Designing and implementing microservices architectures, where applications are divided into small, independent, and deployable services.
- Working with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) to package applications and dependencies for consistent deployment across different environments.
- Building applications that leverage serverless computing models, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions, for event-driven and scalable architectures.
- Integrating databases and data storage solutions in the cloud, considering factors like data consistency, availability, and performance.
- Creating APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to enable communication and integration with other services and applications.
- Integrating security best practices into the application design and development process.
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of applications to ensure a streamlined development workflow.
- Implementing monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance, detect issues, and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth integration and operation of cloud applications.
- Prior Experience on Hybrid Cloud Migration would be an added advantage.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Proficiency in using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, databases, serverless, and networking.
Frontend Development:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks/libraries like React, or Angular
- Understanding of responsive design principles.
Backend Development:
- Expertise in server-side Java
- Experience with backend frameworks like, Spring Boot, Spring Integration or Camel
Database Management:
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Skill in designing and optimizing database schemas.
API Development:
- Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
