DGDM Architect (Data Governance and Data Management Architect) Job Description:
(10+ Experience)
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
- Develop data governance strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Establish data stewardship programs and enforce data ownership.
- Design and implement data quality monitoring and data lineage solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance into projects.
- Provide expertise on data governance best practices and compliance requirements.
- Drive cultural change to promote data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DGDM Architect or similar role.
- Proficiency in data catalog platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica).
- Deep knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
- Change management expertise to drive organizational change.
- Nice to have: Data governance certifications
