Job description
Infosys is seeking a Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will apply your leadership and technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Design, Application development/maintenance and Testing. You will play an important role in associating with the key stakeholders of the project, understanding the client requirements, prepare a detailed design document, deliver high quality code for a module, validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, warranty and Project Management. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irving, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
- Hands-on experience with Project Management of initiatives like Business Resiliency, End of Service Life (EOSL), Cloud Migration.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure timely stakeholder communication and corrective actions.
- Resource Planning - Prepare Resource Plan including people, space, infrastructure and liaison with required groups to fulfill the project resource requirements.
- Scheduling - Prepare a detailed project schedule, baseline the same, manage any changes to ensure delivery of the project on time.
- Project Tracking, Control & Report - Manage task allocation and monitor project scope, schedule, quality, resources, financials, risks, and SLAs. Oversee all project phases—from requirements to warranty—for successful delivery aligned with project goals.
Preferred Qualification
- Production support - Schedule, monitor, review and control the production support so as to meet the agreed upon SLAs to successfully execute the project to the client.
- Hands-on experience in managing IT Operations for a Portfolio (Set of Applications).
- Telecom Domain – Basic domain knowledge in order to understand the business requirements / functionality.
- Ability to work at a fast pace with several teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with business and technology subject matter experts to assess requirements, define scope, create estimates, and produce project charters.
- Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is a pre-requisite.
- Highly Sensitive to Information Security and Data Privacy laws.
