Research Nurse (Community Programs)

We are seeking a Research Nurse who will work with others to adapt and implement the SPARK program, which is a research intervention focused on older adults with pain, depression and chronic conditions. This intervention will take place through the Neighborhood Nurse program. The visits to participants’ will take place in their homes as well as virtually.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet participants and conduct semi-structured clinical interviews to identify and prioritize problem areas relating to pain and depressive symptoms (virtual or in person).
- Assess and work on patient management of pain and depressive symptoms for study participants.
- Engage participants in problem solving to identify behavioral and environmental contributors to pain and depressive symptoms.
- Reinforce strategy use, and review problem solving, refine strategy use, and provide education and resources to address current goals and future needs.
- Attend team meetings, enter data and submit reports for nurse visits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Individual must be a registered nurse, licensed in the State of Maryland or state where practicing.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related discipline.

Starting Salary Range: $64,600 - $113,300 Annually ($89,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
