Overview

As a Product Manager 2 on the Azure Databricks PM team, you will work closely with both customers and partners to enable business growth and deliver on the roadmap.

You will work closely across cross-functional teams such as business, marketing, and sales. You will work together with engineering teams to ensure timely launch of products and product enhancements while also working with business teams to drive adoption of these products.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with Azure Databricks.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in product management.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management OR software development

    • OR eqivalent experience.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will own and drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas. You’ll also help in identifying long-term investment opportunities and engaging partners to garner support for those feature areas.
  • You will drive the team to define a feature set and execute upon it.
  • You will scale Product Marketing teams by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as leading the creation of customer support plans. You’ll also take advantage of major opportunities to promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events.
  • You will guide teams to partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for technical needs in order to improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also coach teams to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers.
