Overview

As the manager of PMs for Windows management in Microsoft Intune, you rally a mission-driven team to define and deliver the end‑to‑end device configuration, policy, compliance, update, and lifecycle experiences that modern organizations rely on. You coach and grow PMs, set strategy and measurable outcomes, and partner across engineering, design, data, and field teams to ship reliable, AI‑powered workflows that make admins faster and organizations safer. You turn customer signals and telemetry into a focused roadmap that reduces toil, hardens security posture, and moves the ecosystem forward.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager for Windows Management to join Microsoft Intune who will lead a team of PMs to define and deliver secure, intelligent, and cloud-scale endpoint management experiences. You’ll set product vision, coach PMs to craft clear problem statements, and partner across engineering, design, and data teams to ship high-quality solutions that reduce admin toil and strengthen enterprise security posture.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ year(s) people management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Endpoint.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years people management experience.
  • 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).

Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead teams to define significant business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions. You’ll also provide strategic direction in identifying long-term investment opportunities and will coach teams to engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.
  • You will lead teams in defining a feature set and facilitate mid- and senior-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll lead teams to own the roadmap for multiple feature areas across divisions, and will guide them to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.
  • You will provide expert insights to help teams scale Product Marketing by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as coaching them to create customer support plans. You’ll also lead them to promote the feature areas they worked on and oversee team presentations at large events.
  • You will provide expertise to help teams partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for technical needs in order to measurably improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also coach teams to identify features to deprecate, and guide them to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers across sectors
