What We are Looking For
We are seeking a Software Engineer to help us build highly scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud services that enable the future of:
· Xbox Family and Child experiences
· User Age Assurance
· Identity and account systems across mobile, web, console, PC, and handheld devices
You will help deliver world-class, compliant experiences for parents, guardians, and children across the Xbox ecosystem.
Responsibilities
· Develop low-latency, massively scaled, geo-distributed cloud services using modern microservices architecture.
· Own the end-to-end lifecycle for globally deployed services (design, development, deployment, monitoring).
· Develop new capabilities for gaming, identity, family, safety, and compliance scenarios across platforms.
· Continuously learn new tools and technologies to meet diverse customer and regulatory needs.
· Contribute technically and work in a culture of inclusion, partnership, and respect.
· Deliver safe, delightful experiences that impact millions of players worldwide.
Qualifications
Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
· 2+ years of commercial software development experience
· 1+ years with large scale service design and development
· Proficiency in programming in one or more of C#, C, C++, Java.
· Passion for building, developing world class high scale distributed Cloud Services.
· Strong problem solving and debugging skills associated with production services
· Good interpersonal skills such as: building relationships, receive and provide honest feedback from peers and partners, supporting your team.
Preferred Qualifications
· Relevant experience and passion in the gaming and Cloud services space.
· Experience in Identity and Access management.
· Experience creating and managing Cloud services using Kubernetes.
