Join NetApp’s Strategy and Operations team and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s direction by supporting the CEO and executive staff on their highest‑priority strategic questions. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact initiatives that directly influence enterprise‑level decisions.
The Strategy & Operations Analyst collects and analyzes business and market data and turns it into insights to support strategy and business decision.
The Strategy & Operations Analyst collects and analyzes business and market data and turns it into insights to support strategy and business decision. Specifically, this person will need to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date market size estimates across all business segments.
- Conduct detailed quantitative analyses and deliver insights for CEO, C-Suite executives, and ad-hoc strategic requests.
- Develop automated solutions for recurring reporting and presentation needs, including slide generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Experience with business analytics (cohort analysis, sales data analysis) market sizing, and customer/product segmentation
- Advanced Excel proficiency (macros, complex formulas, automation), and hands-on SQL experience
- Ability to automate workflows and reporting (e.g., PowerPoint automation using VBA or Python)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or any other quantitative field
- 3-5 years of work experience
- Preferred prior experience in management consulting, the IT industry, or leading consumer internet companies
