| Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill two (2) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Computer Vision Developer for the Crop and Science Department at Oregon State University (OSU). We’re looking for a motivated student to develop computer vision models that detect and classify important agricultural elements, such as harmful insects, weeds, crop diseases, and more, directly from images captured in fields with drones, smartphones, and fixed cameras. This is an excellent hands-on opportunity to apply modern deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems in agriculture, while gaining valuable experience in model training, data annotation, deployment, and working on impactful projects. |
