We are looking for a Software Engineer. This position can be hybrid or remote, but preference will be given to candidates residing in eastern or central timezone.
- As a Software Engineer the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for the Siemens Industrial Automation product portfolio.
- This is an international project team working with the Siemens automation portfolio of programmable logic controller systems, with primary focus on software development for TIA Portal (totally integrated automation portal). This is the software tool that allows customers to create and debug their automation solutions.
- This position is part of an R&D organization, and you will be working directly for one of the Engineering Managers in the R&D department on an international team of engineers.
- The successful candidate will exhibit excellent collaboration, teamwork, written and verbal skills, as these are very important when working on international projects with a very diverse workforce from all over the globe.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 2+ years of professional C# experience
- 1+ years of prior debugging and testing experience not originally created and with an existing code base, on a well established team.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications is required.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern source control concepts and technologies. Prior use of MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) of GIT source control systems is desired.
- Prior TIA portal experience.
- Prior experience with industrial control and automation systems is desired, but not necessary.
- Prior experience in working in a team-focused environment to set and achieve common goals is preferred.

The pay range for this position is 67,480 - 115,680 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
