You’ll make an impact by
- Participating in requirement elicitation and analysis.
- Identifying and defining internal requirements and quality attribute scenarios.
- Deriving sustainable, cost-effective software solutions in the context of product WinCC ES.
- Creating high level technical concepts as a precondition for realizing features.
- Defining guard rails for Scrum teams realizing features and ensuring the correct realization.
- Communicating solution concepts in an agile context.
- Scouting, analyzing and -where appropriate- introducing new innovative technologies for customer features or to optimize the development process.
This is how you'll win us over
- Education
- University degree or an equivalent qualification
- Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience as software architect in big software projects
- you have a completed training as SWA (Siemens Software Architect) or posses an equivalent qualification
- deep theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in systematic software engineering and software architecture
- practical experience in agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban, …)
- coding experience in up-to-date programming languages (C++, C#, Python, JavaScript), technologies and platforms
- interested in technical innovation and continued professional development
- HMI domain knowledge as well as TIA Portal knowledge is a plus
- Ways of working:
- personal engagement and ability to work independently and self-dependent
- team player with a high degree of commitment, reliability, and endurance
- willing and able to travel internationally
- analytical, problem-solving attitude with strong decision-making abilities and a growth mindset
- Languages: business proficiency in German and English
