--- Gathers, reviews, and interprets data, preparing reports and converting raw data into easily accessible formats.
Retrieves, collects, reviews, and interprets data requests from faculty and staff.
Creates and prepares reports, including data retrievals from different data sources.
Produces graphs, charts, and other documents.
Updates and maintains data and databases.
Meets with various entities to realize new processes for data collection.
Formulates techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
Ensures secure storage of data.
Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Job Requirements
--- Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. AND:
- 12 months of data collection, data entry, or related experience.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
- Proficient navigating and maintaining databases
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
- Ability to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
- Ability to communicate well and build rapport with students, faculty and staff
Working Conditions:
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
- May be required to bend, lift, stoop, and carry.
- Standard office environment.
- Regular pressure to meet productivity standards.
