Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in rating, pricing and analytics platforms (Earnix preferred) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in validating rating algorithms, pricing workflows, and system integrations across our Guidewire and Earnix ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute Test scenarois and automated test scripts for rating/pricing models and integrations.
  • Validate Earnix pricing models, rating algorithms, and configuration changes against business and actuarial requirements.
  • Perform API testing, data validation, and end-to-end flow testing across Earnix, Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter, and digital self-serve applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, actuaries, and developers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and performance of rating solutions.
  • Contribute to shift-left testing, CI/CD automation, and best practices in Quality Engineering.
  • Monitor and validate production deployments, ensuring quality standards are met before and after releases.
  • Document test scripts, results, and defects clearly; ensure traceability of requirements to testing outcomes.
  • Leverage strong knowledge to understand technical solutions to build optimized test approaches, inclusive of the tooling strategy
  • Strong knowledge of test data management to reuse automated test data provisioning capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with the development team to define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) / Ready (DoR)
  • Apply the principles of behavior / Test Driven Development (BDD / TDD) and focus on value driven outcomes
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to quality engineering activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of Quality Engineering experience in insurance services.
  • Hands-on experience with Earnix, rating/pricing engines, or actuarial systems (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter or similar insurance platforms.
  • Proficiency in API testing tools (RestAssured).
  • Experience with automation frameworks (Java, Selenium).
  • Solid understanding of SQL, data validation, and ETL testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience validating actuarial/rating models (Earnix, Insbridge, or similar).
