Job Summary
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
Performs a variety of laboratory procedures and experiments in a neuroscience research lab with both non-human primate and human studies. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment. Experience with non-human primate research is preferred.
· Perform a variety of experimental procedures for non-human primates, such as surgical procedures and behavioral testing.
· Support animal care and husbandry, such as monitoring health and providing treatments.
· Assist with data analysis.
· Maintain and manage records and logs; ensure compliance with research protocols.
· Support daily lab operation, maintain inventory, and order supplies
· Coordinate and assist with human research studies at an off-site location.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs, sometimes more.
