Performs a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments such as determining experimental protocols and preparation of specimens and cultures. This is a joint position between the Koenigshoff and Das labs. The Das lab has developed a range of interpretable machine learning approaches including SLIDE. This new position will focus on - i) applying machine learning and computational systems approaches to multi-omic datasets in the context of senescence in conjunction with the Koenigshoff lab, and ii) enhancing SLIDE with biological priors and applying it to metabolomic data.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
