Job Description

AbbVie is currently looking for n. 3 API Manufacturing Engineers for 12 months fix term contract with following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of the manufacturing process and equipment issues and process optimization.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational processes and equipment performance, aiming to achieve the highest standards of manufacturing excellence.
  • Developing supporting documentation, SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions compliant with GMP.
  • Proactively monitor existing processes and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Review and contribute to the development of batch-related recipes (such as those in POMS), and additional manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Offer expert input or review the design of batch and cleaning manufacturing recipes within the Distributed Control System (DCS).
  • Support New Process Introductions processes and new Equipment Introduction.
  • Document/Procedure and Process Streamlining/updates.
  • Review and resolve DCS and SAP anomalies, collaborate in drafting and reviewing procedures:
  • Support and implement compliance initiatives.
  • Support regulatory or other inspections/audits.
  • Develop inter-departmental communication & planning
  • Adhere to and support all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies.
  • Ensure department is maintaining implemented processes and tools: e.g. 5S.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience in DCS, MES or in manufacturing environment is a plus
  • “Nice to have” GMP knowledge, related to pharmaceutical industry
