Job Description
Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities with high-level business unit executives. Provides advice, assistance and leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance and effective business use of information systems for a business area. Analyzes business processes; elicits, analyzes and documents business requirements; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility and makes recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing technology components. Translates business requirements into functional requirements; performs data and process modeling; manages change; and leads, coordinates/performs testing, verification, and validation of requirements.
Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Works directly with business unit clients to understand specific business processes and business drivers and business strategies across multiple business units.
- Technology Investigation & Strategy Development: Investigates and understands capabilities of patient CRM systems and investigates global patient CRM system applicability to business area.
- Compliance & Evaluation: Compliance with global patient data policies and external regulations like GDPR & HIPAA. Identifies current and emerging business needs and evaluates salesforce technology solutions.
- Information Systems Strategy: Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities for the global patient CRM with regional high-level business executives after performing strategic analyses and insights to help decision making.
- Relationship Management: Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other regional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
- Communication & Conflict Resolution: Allies with other regional stakeholders and enterprise to remain current on project status, and inform progress; conversely, keeps managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.
- Responsibility & Accountability: Accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed business process improvements. Also accountable for communicating business needs and drivers to development groups to assure the implementation phase can fulfill the business need.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Product Analyst with Salesforce CRM based solutions.
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies, and Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Proven experience collaborating with engineering and design teams spread across the globe.
- 3+ years’ experience as a people leader/manager.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights that drive the business forward.
- Determines and develops approach and solutions to problems.
- Fluent in English as AbbVie’s designated global business language.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
