Job Description
The Sr. Sales Analyst provides critical operational support and problem-solving assistance to U.S. Field-based teams, including Commercial Sales, Field Medical Affairs, Allergan Aesthetics (Field), and PCYC (Field). A key responsibility of this role is managing the Field Help Desk Knowledge Base and overseeing content development for AbbVie’s Virtual Assistant (AVA), an AI-powered support tool. By ensuring all content is accurate, relevant, and continuously updated, the Sr. Sales Analyst enables AVA and Help Desk Agents to deliver efficient, first-contact issue resolution. This proactive content management minimizes downtime and empowers Field users to stay productive and focused in their roles.

- Acts as a cross-functional partner to provide innovative, holistic solutions. Recognizes emerging operational needs and serves as a change agent to increase efficiencies between interdepartmental relationships.
- Acts as a subject matter expert and shares knowledge and insights with peers. Leverages competitive industry and market knowledge to continually benchmark AbbVie processes. Foresees changes within the industry/market and recommends improvements to key stakeholders.
- Leverages intimate knowledge of sales force tools, goals, and structure to consult/partner with cross-functional team members and customers to develop sustainable strategic support solutions.

- Uses advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and methodologies to develop best practices.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization and anticipates costumer and business needs and addresses questions or issues proactively.
Strategic Initiative & Project Lifecycle
- Identifies current and future opportunities within department and cross functionally to improve commercial effectiveness. Makes strategic recommendations based on extensive market knowledge and analysis.
- Develops and utilizes clear metrics that define optimal levels of functionality, sustainability, and compliance to verify deliverable quality. Identifies root causes of deliverable success/failure and provides recommendations to improve outcome.
- Develops project plans that integrate and align with cross departmental processes and other projects and provides innovative solutions to overcome project hurdles. Anticipates constraints and risks that may affect timeline, formulates appropriate mitigation, and proactively communicates project progress to complete projects early or on time.
Relationship Management
- Serves as a mentor and coaches others on a wide variety of issues ranging from appropriate knowledge and skills of the function to all aspects of the project lifecycle including best practices.
- Manages supplier contracts and deliverables, which result in the highest quality output for the lowest cost to AbbVie. Manages changes in the business to ensure that contractual obligations and service levels remain at a superior level and continue without interruption. Anticipates changes in supplier deliverables and proactively mitigates problems in advance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, customer service, life sciences, or information technology.
- Background in Commercial, Sales and/or Field Operations required.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, compliance regulations and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Work, Project Plan and PowerPoint), Office 365 and experience supporting Apple devices.
- Able to independently manage multiple tasks/priorities.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time ofthis posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
