Technical Architect
The Challenge
This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team that provides consulting services for Adobe Digital Media solutions! The Adobe consulting team is responsible for providing experienced skills in implementing Adobe applications and integrating complementary Adobe enterprise solutions and collaborating with clients' existing IT infrastructure.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Technical Architect that functions as the Adobe technical authority. Their responsibility is to not only know about the product's hidden intricacies but to truly understand the implications of every function, setting, & integration available. A Technical Architect might not know everything, but they know enough to hunt down what they don’t know and communicate it to the client.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and consulting to client teams from a technical perspective and validate that the proposed technical solutions can be implemented successfully
- Design and write well-structured, object-oriented code
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Management and Quality teams to deliver new features and capabilities
- Communicate and coordinate well with Customer team members as well as consultants and managers
- Implement new features and enhancements to address issues in complex systems
- Present your proposals to customers in a clear and compelling way
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong back-end development skills with languages like Java, Python or Node.js
- Experience with server-side technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring, Express.js).
- Database expertise, including SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs for building scalable and efficient applications.
- Version control using Git and collaboration platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Security awareness, including standard methodologies for securing web applications and data.
- Experience with AI, in particular Generative AI, is a plus.
- Experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
- Professional Experience:
- 9-10 years of relevant work experience in Digital Transformation with a strong technical focus (preferable)
- Consistent track record of developing full-stack applications in a professional setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering end-to-end solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in multi-functional teams.
- Prior work on projects involving large-scale data processing, real-time systems, or Big Data technologies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of software development standard methodologies, including code reviews, testing (unit, integration, and automated testing), and documentation.
- Experience in architecting and designing scalable and resilient systems.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, project managers, and multi-functional teams.
- Problem-solving attitude with the ability to solve complex technical issues.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and stay updated with emerging technologies.
- Project management skills to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Client-focused and able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Team collaboration and the ability to mentor junior developers.
- Portfolio:
- A strong portfolio showcasing past projects and code samples that demonstrate your full-stack development skills
- Industry Knowledge:
- Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in the software development field.
- Business Insight:
- Understanding of the technology firm's industry and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Ethics and Compliance:
- Commitment to ethical coding practices and compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development through courses, workshops, and conferences.
