Frame.io is seeking an expert SDET to contribute to the development and growth of the Test Engineering squad. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on an innovative product built with modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Apollo Client, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Elixir.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior SDET at Adobe, you will:

  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks and tools, to help deliver confidence in shipping outstanding software.
  • Work across multiple teams to support testing strategies and solutions to help build tools to improve our developer experience.
  • Peer review and support engineers of all levels in following testing standards set by our Test Engineering team, while also contributing to their improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support during release processes by leading the investigation and debugging of test failures and unexpected outcomes.
  • Evolve our CI/CD and release process to help in delivering relevant information and feedback from regression test runs.
  • Take initiative and drive tasks to completion with confidence and determination.
  • Continuously improve our testing processes to uphold our outstanding quality standards.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Proactively take ownership of related initiatives by identifying and solving them before they become problems.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills, successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and ensure seamless execution of testing strategies.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a test engineer with a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • A full-stack mentality, familiarity with both front-end and back-end systems to craft effective and scalable testing solutions beyond just writing tests.
  • Shown knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise with test automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in frontend programming languages such as TypeScript / JavaScript.
  • Experience with backend systems, with a strong understanding of functional programming concepts; familiarity with languages like Elixir is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
