Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Engineer with 12 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps, automation, and security, with a proven track record of driving complex projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Develop and implement cloud-native applications, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Integrate Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation tasks.
- Designing and implementing SQL scripts, optimizing queries, and creating complex stored procedures for efficient data integration and analysis.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Implement security best practices, including identity management, access control, and compliance standards.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct technical reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 8 years focused on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, AKS, Azure Functions, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or Bash.
- Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Deep understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management (IAM), and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms (AKS, Azure Container Registry).
- Strong expertise in SQL scripting, query optimization, and writing complex stored procedures for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and migration strategies.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
