Opportunity

The CC Services Romania engineering team is looking for a new senior machine learning applied researcher to create unique experiences for the Creative Cloud clients.


Our initiative will lead to rapid success for the new and professional users of the Adobe Creative Cloud products. More specifically, the CC Services Engineering team will work to research the state-of-the-art Machine Learning models but also to move them into Creative Cloud components and applications. Our powerful models will remove the tedious part of current workflows and help our customers to unleash their creativity.


What you'll do:

  • You will be responsible for helping us set the technical and research direction, making architectural decisions, and implementing complex systems.
  • Influence design decisions and technical direction for engineers, researchers, product managers and senior leaders.
  • You will always drive for high product and engineering quality in our work.
  • You will be responsible for integrating machine learning models into Creative Cloud Components that will be deployed across multiple applications
  • You will ­­work closely with teams across Adobe, in different geographies. The technology you produce will have visibility at the highest levels of the company and materially affect the positive impact products have on our customers.


What you need to succeed:

  • An advanced degree (PhD preferred) in machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer science, statistics, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in cutting-edge ML algorithms and architectures including Transformers, Diffusions, DiTs, GANs with Transfer learning and pretrained models. Deep understanding of generative network architectures: Stable Diffusion, Image, Flux etc. Experience with model distillation techniques represents a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (Pytorch, TensorFlow or Jax).
  • Be able to evaluate, improve, or develop advance machine learning algorithms for complex use cases.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical modelling and software skills and ability to work with multiple levels of abstractions.
  • Hands-on experience working with large language models like GPT, LLAMA, DeepSeek, or Transformer-based architectures.
  • Outstanding command of data structures and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AIT, TensorRT, Triton are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.
