People Manager

The Growth Platform Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development and integration of in-product growth tools for the next generation of creative applications. In this role, you will coordinate the development, integration, delivery, and operations of growth tools, while also providing strategic consultancy and driving adoption among internal customers. This is a high-visibility position with significant responsibility across Adobe, particularly within the Product-Led Growth group.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a team of up to 10 engineers and guide them through solution design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of the platform.
  • Influence the platform roadmap and technical decisions by balancing the needs of multiple partners.
  • Ensure clarity and regular communication of project status to internal customers.
  • Drive individual and team performance through continuous feedback, coaching, and development.
  • Evolve engineering processes and collaboration models to increase team efficiency. Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence, encouraging innovation, partner engagement, and creative problem-solving.
  • Collaborate closely with teams and managers across Adobe’s global organization. The technology your team builds will be adopted by multiple Adobe teams and will have a direct, measurable impact on key product metrics.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with machine learning applications is a strong plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading teams that build scalable applications.
  • Experience in web application engineering, with a track record of delivering quality results.
  • Proven track record to build and retain a complementary team of top engineering talent in a competitive market.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic attitude and a passion for data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices and architectural design patterns.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to multi-functional teams.
