Our team is thrilled to have the opportunity to hire an AEM Senior Technical Architect to drive success with our customers and internal teams around effective design and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager solutions. This team is comprised of technology-savvy individuals who have experience in digital marketing and know its value in driving company strategies. You will work with clients to strategize and drive business value from the platform and enable them to adopt & scale-up in their maturity roadmap.

What you will do:

  • Represent Adobe Professional Services as the Lead Architect advising the solution strategy, architecture and technical implementation for Adobe Experience Manager engagements.
  • Coordinate with client teams and own the conversation to define use cases, goals, objectives and architecture to support the business needs.
  • Build system and application architectures to achieve defined digital experience and business needs.
  • Engage and promote recommendations to senior client leadership teams.
  • Work within a high technically focused team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of solutions with AEM.
  • Effectively analyze complex project issues, devise optimal solutions, and facilitate the recommendations to the Clients and Partners.
  • Ensure alignment between business strategies, information technology roadmap, and technical and tactical deployment teams.
  • Contribute to Adobe’s AEM practices, collaboration channels and share valuable feedback for product improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership to team and mentor the technical focused team.
  • Occasional to regular business travel based on project needs

What you need to succeed

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s / Master degree in computer science, engineering or similar.
  • Proven multi-year experience with Java/JEE, Sling Servlets, OSGi, JCR Queries, core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Felix.
  • Mastery of core web technologies including XML, HTML5, HTL, client/server-side scripting, Javascript, Jquery.
  • Deep knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL, Unit Testing, GIT, agile methodologies, and software design patterns.
  • Dispatcher Configuration, Clustering, CRX repository, Workflows, Replication, and Performance management.
  • CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.
  • Good conceptual understanding of modern frontend frameworks technology like React, Vue.js or Angular.
  • Forward-thinking in terms of knowledge of the latest web technologies trends.

Consulting Skills

  • Excels in leading conversations with peer levels at customers and partners, including C-level audience.
  • Masters risk management and handling challenging engagement situations in a proactive way.
  • Be a role model teammate and support others.
  • Self-organized professional who prioritizes your work schedule in a multi-engagement environment.
  • Ability to involve other specialists in order to ensure success.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English, German (preferred), other European languages are a plus.
