As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer with the Adobe Unified Brand Services (UBS) team, you will build and productize novel multi-modal Generative AI-powered solutions, and improve upon industry leading experiences to address key challenges that arise in marketing content creation at scale, for enterprises' content supply chains.

What you will do
In collaboration with a multi-functional group of fellow engineers, product managers, and marketers, you will innovate, design, implement, lead, and deliver pioneering machine learning capabilities using Generative AI, Computer Vision, and NLP skills and integrate them within multiple Adobe products and services.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and ship innovative algorithmic solutions for addressing business requirements.
Conduct analytical experiments using statistical techniques and large vision language model (LLMs, VLMs) research for generative modeling of trends and patterns in data.
Craft scalable code for building services involving deep ML algorithms, such as deep learning, in programming languages such as Python, Scala.
Identify new product engagement opportunities by working closely with collaborators, customers, and team members.
What you need to succeed
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience with specialization in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work experience in NLP, CV, or Gen AI technologies.
- In-depth understanding of probability, statistics and machine learning, NLP or computer vision techniques, and model architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, LLMs, vision language models, etc.)
- Proficient in Computer Science, Data Structures, and algorithms.
- Expert programming skills in Python and one or more of Scala, Java, or equivalents, as well as familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions such as large language models and building REST APIs to expose the outcome of these ML algorithms to UI.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure and AWS and containerization tools, e.g., Docker and Kubernetes.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
