The Opportunity

Today, Adobe is at the forefront of enabling our customers’ digital transformation and new experience design-led business models. The Automation and Intelligence Team plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success across our Digital Media and Digital Experience businesses. We do this by providing the critical systems, tools, and insights that our Sales and Post-Sales teams need to make our customers successful.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building data pipelines using APIs, strong SQL proficiency, and experience with Power BI, Power Apps. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions to enable efficient data integration, analysis, and reporting.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines utilizing APIs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
  • Build robust SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation scripts for data manipulation and transformation tasks.
  • Utilize Power BI to create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Build and customize Power Apps solutions to enhance data accessibility and user experience.
  • Monitor data systems' performance and address any issues or anomalies to ensure smooth data flow and system stability.

Skills

What you need to succeed

  • Proven experience working as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data integration and data pipeline development. Snaplogic experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
  • Understanding of Agile software development and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS. Experience with Databricks and Python for data manipulation and transformation is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills, encouraging effective teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Participate in code reviews, be open to feedback, and support team growth.

Education

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Degree in CS, IT, Statistics, or related fields; or equivalent experience in the field of sophisticated data engineering

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $63,000 -- $145,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
