The Developer Platform team's mission is to ensure Adobe’s creative products are built with extensibility in mind. Adobe Express is the quick and easy creative-anything app and platform for everyone from small businesses to enterprise teams to students and teachers. Built on this platform, the Adobe Express Embed SDK empowers partners and customers to seamlessly integrate Adobe’s generative and editing superpowers into their own applications, enabling users to create and publish content without leaving their workflow.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and user-centric Senior Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and execution of embeddable experiences within Adobe Express. This role is pivotal in crafting how Adobe delivers subscriber value by bringing creative tools into Adobe Acrobat, Creative Cloud Desktop, and Adobe’s AI Assistants.
What You'll Do
Define and Drive Product Strategy: Develop and own the product roadmap focusing on modules, quick actions, and full editor experiences.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and partner teams to deliver seamless integration experiences.
- Partner Engagement: Work closely with internal partners to understand their ideal user experience, gather feedback, and ensure successful Embed module adoption.
- User-Centric Development: Advocate for end-users by conducting user research, analyzing feedback, and ensuring the product meets diverse user needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish critical metrics, supervise product performance, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep tabs on industry trends in web development, SDKs, and creative tools to inform product decisions.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years in product management, preferably with a focus on SDKs, APIs, or developer platforms.
- Technical Savvy: Solid understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience working with developer tools.
- Critical Thinking: Proven ability to develop product strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, celebrating shared wins and owning losses as wins.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Design. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Design Sensibility: Experience with design tools and an appreciation for user experience and visual design.
- Global Perspective: You will work with international teams and understanding of localization considerations is a key element of success.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
