Adobe Horizon organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of key elements of the Configuration Management Platform. The platform is cloud native, provides best in class tools for creatives collaboration and it is being built using modern software engineering approaches and tools such as: containerization, continuous delivery, monorepo, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous experimentation.

What you’ll do

  • Develop qualitative code in an agile manner with a high focus on finding better solutions for our customers’ needs;
  • Perform code reviews to ensure that features are efficiently implemented and maintainable;
  • Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as grooming, planning, sprint review and retrospective to clarify requirements and shape the product's roadmap;
  • Cultivate and enhance the organization's DevOps culture and mindset;
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and address them.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science or a related field;
  • 5+ years of practical experience delivering Web products;
  • Excellent understanding of OOP, functional programming, software life cycle, source control tools;
  • Working background with Node.js and frameworks such as express.js, nest.js or koa.js;
  • Good understanding of cloud-based architectures (preferably on AWS);
  • Knowledgeable of infrastructure-as-code tools and build tools;
  • Experience in agile software development setups;
  • Be quality and performance oriented above all;
  • Eagerness to learn new concepts and innovative technologies;
  • Be proficient in English, both in speaking and writing.
