The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dynamic Senior DevOps engineer with proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies and a passion for building scalable systems. As a part of the DI Adobe Research Team, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining operational efficiency for highly scalable, reliable and performant services. You will join a team of dedicated engineers to expand the cloud offerings behind some of Adobe’s most successful and innovative creative products.

What you'll Do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain robust configuration management systems to support scalable infrastructure.

  • Manage multiple environments for development, testing, and production to ensure smooth deployment cycles.

  • Enhance, build, and deploy services on Adobe’s platforms with a focus on machine learning (ML) service integration.

  • Develop and optimize monitoring solutions to ensure the health of services and infrastructure.

  • Continuously improve service reliability, resiliency, availability, and scalability.

  • Lead the lifecycle of operational readiness—from architecture to deployment and post-launch support.

  • Collaborate with ML platform engineering teams to streamline and create efficient CI/CD pipelines.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm etc.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one programming language such as Python or Node.js. Python is preferred.

  • 3+ years of deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD).

  • 3+ years working with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles including scalability, performance tuning, reliability, and high availability.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex cloud-based systems.

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation best practices.

  • Experience with AI/ML model deployment workflows and infrastructure.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
