The Opportunity

Digital Media Mobile Go-to-Market Analytics team is looking for a seasoned Data Scientist – App Store Optimization (Individual Contributor) to drive the rapid growing mobile business.

In this role, you will use your data science skill to generate actionable data-driven recommendations to empower global mobile adoption and user acquisition.

The ideal candidate will be a ‘self-starter’ with outstanding quantitative analytical skill, superb business intuition, fantastic communication skill, and most importantly, the ability to use analytics to drive/influence business decision making.

What You Will Do

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data modeling to gain deep insights into user acquisition via ASO programs (e.g. In-App Events and Promotional Content) and various marketing channels across mobile and web, and generate actionable recommendations to grow the business
  • Acting as a thought partner of top funnel to the GTM business leads, Sales, PM, PMM, and other partners and influence decisions through the storytelling of data-driven recommendations, analysis, and experiment results
  • Identify the business opportunities, build the use cases, and recommend data science initiatives to unlock the business that will inform paid media strategy and roadmap of mobile & web
  • Using data science models to tackle critical business challenges and drive recurring, scalable, and programmatic business unlocks

What Is Needed To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields. MBA or a master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 4 to 10 years hands-on experience doing quantitative analysis in digital marketing, mobile marketing, ASO, growth, or mobile product management
  • Demonstrable experience using quantitative analysis/statistical modeling on data sets to tackle intricate business problems. Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages
  • Familiar with App Store developer console data reporting and capabilities, as well as other mobile reporting systems like Sensor Tower, AppTweak, Branch, etc.
  • Has a deep understanding of both paid and organic mobile marketing metrics - impressions, downloads, installs, conversion rates and retention
  • Phenomenal at telling stories with data and communicating it to partners at all levels to influence critical decision making
  • Statistical Modeling in Microsoft Excel or Power Pivot
  • A solid sense of self and a great sense of humor
  • A fast learner with desire to learn new things

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $128,600 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
