What You’ll Do

Join us at Adobe as a Machine Learning Engineer 4 and be part of an ambitious team driving elite digital experiences! You will have the opportunity to develop high-performance, reliable, testable, and maintainable code. Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation. Collaborate with engineers and actively participate in daily or weekly stand-ups and meetings. Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you. Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication. Additional responsibilities may arise based on specific role or team needs.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; a Ph.D. preferred.
  • A strong technical background with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in software engineering through applicable coursework, projects, internships, or work experience.
  • Proficiency in traditional ML algorithms, NLP practices, and hands-on experience in fine-tuning LLMs.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language, such as Java or Python.
  • Experience publishing in top tier conference is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including crafting, developing, deploying, and maintaining web and mobile apps.
  • An attitude centered on achieving goals with the ability and interest to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to new requirements and environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $142,700 -- $257,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
