Are you interested in the chance to work on a professional creative software product that touches millions of customers across the world? If so, the Photoshop team is looking for a passionate Quality Engineer to join us in crafting the future of Photoshop! You will be working within a fast-paced, agile environment, partnering closely with fellow quality engineers, developers, designers, and product managers. Your role as a developer will play a key part in testing features which directly increase the growth of Photoshop for iPad and delivering an incredible user experience. We are looking for someone who holds high standards, is technical, driven, and creative. You will need clear communication skills, resourcefulness, and a collaborative approach that can work optimally across the team to bring Photoshop to life on multiple platforms.

What you'll Do
- Test and deliver high quality, robust features.
- Collaborate with development and other QE on test execution.
- Write, maintain, and execute (test cases, plans, reports, etc) for complex features.
- Can effectively augment and use test automation to increase the thoroughness of testing.
- Detects gaps or oversights in implementation decisions as well as recommending improvements in functionality.
- Identify and communicate risks based on technical knowledge and experience.
- Review and give feedback on requirement documents based on broad and deep product knowledge and understanding of customer issues.
- Champion customer requirements throughout the development process.
- Participates in customer engagement channels.
- Work closely with technical support to understand and resolve customer issues.
- Can work beyond manual testing - understand fixes through code review, testing through code and generate automation test cases instead of manual.
- A product expert, provides valuable expertise to multiple areas, as well as seamlessly taking on new and more complex functionality with little or no oversight.
- Estimates and schedules own work accurately and with little supervision.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of equivalent Quality Engineering (QE) industry experience.
- A very strong background in iOS
- Solid understanding of Photoshop and other Adobe imaging products.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Able to communicate technical details clearly to all levels of the organization.
- Graphics and/or image-processing experience.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
