The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in Java, Java Script and TypeScript to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications that power Adobe’s next-generation digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend Services using Java, modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with databases, third-party APIs, and internal systems.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security through clean, modular code and comprehensive testing.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning.
- Optimise applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack in development and production environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
- Strong expertise in Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, React or similar framework, Spring or similar framework, HTML/CSS, and Redux.
- Experience building responsive, modular, and maintainable web applications.
- Solid understanding of Web Components, RESTful APIs, and micro-service architecture.
- Experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) and Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures.
- Deep knowledge of modern web standards and browser internals (e.g., JS engines, rendering pipelines, Shadow DOM, Service Workers).
- Proficiency with Git, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with development of web-based document editors.
- Experience with Web Components: Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, ES Modules, Templates, LitElement.
- Experience with localization, accessibility, or performance optimization in enterprise applications.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures.
