The Challenge

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our dynamic team and address the challenges of creating infrastructure and automation frameworks that support scalable, high-quality product development. With contributions from over 700 developers, innovative solutions are needed to ensure teams are self-sufficient in validating their features.

In this role, you will build frameworks that integrate seamlessly with our CI/CD pipeline, providing developers with clear signals and confidence in multiple daily deployments. You will also develop infrastructure for multi-tenant web and mobile applications, enabling rapid development without compromising quality. If you excel at solving complex technical challenges, have a passion for automation and quality, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is perfect for you.

What You'll Do

As part of the Automation Frameworks team, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the connection between our automation frameworks and CI/CD infrastructure. Our team builds and maintains scalable, high-performance frameworks that enable developers to validate their features independently.

In this role, you won’t be writing end-to-end tests yourself. Instead, you’ll guide and support developers in using our frameworks effectively, while driving infrastructure improvements and solving tough integration problems. If you’re passionate about automation, infrastructure, and scaling quality practices across a large engineering org, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to integrate our automation framework with the CI/CD pipeline, constantly improving scalability, reliability, and alignment with web and mobile development.
  • Build and maintain tools, dashboards, and infrastructure that support the stability and performance of the automation framework.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Grafana, Power BI, Splunk) that provide actionable insights into test performance, system reliability, and automation coverage.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to encourage standard methodologies for testing and support them in crafting dependable test suites with our tools.
  • Support and fix test infrastructure issues, framework bugs, and flaky test failures—helping unblock teams quickly and efficiently.
  • Implement observability tools and signals to track system health and proactively address issues.
  • Champion platform quality and maintainability through documentation, collaboration, and thoughtful reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying responsive to evolving product and infrastructure needs.

Ingredients for Success

  • Proficiency in Playwright, including designing, maintaining, and scaling E2E test suites across multiple browsers. Strong grasp of selector strategy, test isolation, and integration into CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly CircleCI. Familiarity with Rush.js and Bazel is a bonus, especially around caching and parallelization strategies.
  • Experience building or maintaining data visualizations or reporting pipelines using tools such as Power BI, Grafana, Splunk, or similar—especially to track test coverage, system health, or CI/CD signals.
  • Strong debugging skills across test frameworks, CI issues, and flaky or failing test cases.
  • Comfort with scripting in Python, Bash, or TypeScript to automate workflow and pipeline tasks.
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk, New Relic, or Grafana to support reliability and system monitoring.
  • Solid Git knowledge, including branching workflows and integrating pipelines with source control.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, you know how to articulate technical decisions and steer others toward quality outcomes.
