The Digital Media organization has more than 200 employees in Romania. Adobe manages a variety of products such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Stock, Adobe Firefly, and Adobe Express, among others. We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead projects within the DME RO organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive key initiatives from conception to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Develop and optimize web applications using C++ or TypeScript.
- Explore and integrate advanced web technologies such as Web Workers, WebAssembly, React, and Web Components to improve application performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of graphics components.
- Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance optimization.
- Partner with fellow engineers and partners on the design and development of solutions and integrations.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Provide technical leadership within our team and act as a mentor to more junior engineers.
- Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, designs, and creative problem-solving.
- Work well both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team.
- Grow with the support of the team and help others grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.
- Connect with customers to understand their needs and implement personalized solutions that align with business objectives.
- Share insights at industry conferences and showcase your work internally and externally.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or TypeScript, with strong coding skills.
- Previous experience with WebAssembly, React, Web Components, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are pluses.
- Expert knowledge of web and browser technologies: HTTP/s, cookies, security, cross-site scripting, rendering engines, browser storage.
- Familiarity with widely used AI/ML frameworks, large language models, and AI agents.
- Ability to craft and implement scalable solutions, make architectural decisions, and simplify complex requirements and designs.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them to solve complex problems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Customer-focused with a real passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale.
