M60/P60EMPLOYEE ROLE
Individual ContributorAbout Adobe: Adobe is changing the world through digital experiences. We help our customers create, deliver, and optimize content and applications. Join us to help craft the future at the intersection of creativity, marketing, and AI.
About Firefly 2D and 3D Object Compositing: Gen AI with Adobe Firefly makes object compositing at scale finally a reality. For any companies that produce physical products (e.g., board games, cosmetics, automobiles, computers), the need to display those products in various environments is evergreen. Usually that required taking the actual product and photographing it, in order for the product to show up correctly in the final image. Now, with object compositing from Firefly Services, these companies can not only produce 3D digital twins or take 2D product photography and seamlessly harmonize it into a setting/background of their choosing, they can do so at scale while getting all the aspects of shadows, lighting, reflections, etc. correct.
Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic Product Marketing leader to lead product strategy and go-to-market success for Firefly 2D and 3D Object Compositing. This role will be pivotal in driving the success of our innovative AI-powered solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our enterprise customers and align with Adobe’s overall strategy. The area of object compositing is one of the most important ‘bets’ the business is making this year.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer and Market Insights: Conduct research and gain first-hand observations with customers to understand needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Synthesize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Co-own, together with Product Management, the product strategy and upcoming calendar of new product and feature releases
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for Object Compositing, including pricing, packaging, positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to create and deliver training, sales tools, and collateral that effectively communicate the value proposition of Object Compositing.
Content Development: Lead the creation of high-impact marketing materials, including case studies, whitepapers, presentations, and web content.
Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers to gather feedback, understand use cases, and develop customer success stories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, field sales, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution.
Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of product marketing experience (15+ years total experience), preferably with a mix of AI, software, and creative experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking, problem structuring, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Domain Knowledge: Needs to:
Know the end-to-end process of product image creation — from concept to campaign and measurement.
Understand file formats and assets involved: PSD, TIFF, EXR, USDZ, glTF, OBJ, etc.
Be aware of post-production processes: retouching, masking, blending, shadow realism, lighting passes, etc.
Understand approval workflows between creative, brand, and legal.
Be able to explain how inpainting, control nets, prompt-to-image, and custom models apply to branded image production.
Understand when 2D gen AI hits its limit and when 3D (or hybrid methods) are needed.
Know where hallucination or brand inconsistency becomes a problem — and how Custom Models and Brand Service could help address that.
Understand the difference in workflows:
2D: compositing, masking, harmonization, retouching
3D: camera angles, materials (PBR), lighting, rendering engines (Substance), mesh topology
Know how 3D assets become 2D deliverables (render passes, alpha masks, matte objects)
Understand what a digital twin really means (not just a buzzword — is it from CAD, photogrammetry, procedural modeling?)
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into compelling marketing strategies.
