The Opportunity

Join a fast-paced 0>1 (intrapreneurial) team within Adobe Firefly GenAI working closely with Adobe’s enterprise customers to deliver bleeding edge deep-tuning AI platform services.

You will operate with a “founding team” mentality and also work well with the core Adobe teams across platform, security, engineering, product, program management. We are looking for a full-stack engineer with strong front-end skills.

You will creatively vibe code to quickly prototype concepts. You will also working collaboratively with a product manager, designer and leadership to architect and maintain a user-facing experience for Adobe Firefly Foundry enterprise customers.

We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including data ingestion, large-scale system design, AI/ML training pipelines, security, UI design and mobile. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

A successful candidate will be customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, invite constructive collaboration, naturally strive to be a mentor and always work with a bias towards action. Most importantly you enjoy independently solving complex problems, have a deep empathy for customers, and drive tangible results in a team oriented culture.


The Role

  • Work with Researchers & Platform leaders to articulate architecture for Firefly Foundry
  • Prototype quickly (vibe code) to drive agreement internally and with customers
  • Use quality coding practices to harden experience for Adobe client platform(s)
  • Work closely with customers, design, product management and other internal clients to early ideas into interactive prototypes
  • Embed with enterprise customers, as needed
  • Be curious. Constantly learn and expand your knowledge and skills in AI/apps

Skills & Success

  • Proven track-record of building and deploying delightful web applications or interactive sites
  • Full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
  • Confidence to be an opinionated, pragmatic developer - especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code
  • Ability to perform independently in a hybrid or remote first work environment supported by competent written and verbal communication skills
  • 7+ years of professional experience developing interactive web applications, preferably in the creative tool domain
  • B.S or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Customizing panels and workflows for Adobe CC Applications
  • Exposure to generative AI models, including text-to-image and large language models
  • Experience with video or similar multi-track non-linear editors
  • Experience in UX design, design systems or close collaboration with design teams
  • Knowledge of modern web technologies, for example, WASM, WebGPU and canvas rendering, security, asynchrony and performance optimization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,600 -- $286,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
