In collaboration with a larger distributed team of product and engineering experts, we build new Commerce capabilities striving to deliver outstanding website performance, traffic acquisition, and user engagement.

What will you do

  • Build the next cloud-based, high-performance e-commerce platform

  • Develop core software components for battle-tested products or greenfield projects

  • Try out new things and run PoCs that improve our products.

  • Create and contribute to engineering designs and architectures that can address real software problems or limitations.

  • Grow with the support of your team, and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.

  • Demonstrate features and propose and review technical solutions.

  • Always challenge the way we were set to build products! Be ready to prototype, iterate fast using feedback and data, and restart as much as needed.

What you need to succeed

Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach, growing in fast-paced environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Ready to build reliable backend services using Java (or similar) development concepts and practices

  • Proven understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software lifecycle, and source control tools

  • APIs: RESTful, GraphQL

  • Experience working with Kubernetes container orchestration

  • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers

  • Knowledge in both building and operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus), infrastructure as code and provisioning tools

  • Experience in working with NoSQL Databases

  • Prior knowledge of Commerce development is a huge plus.

  • Willingness to adopt new technologies like Rust and Golang
