You’ll mine operational data for insights, identify patterns and gaps, and turn those insights into targeted improvements to our planning, reporting, and execution processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems with data, partnering across functions, and making an outsized impact through thoughtful process and systems work.

What You’ll Do

Data & Analytics

  • Analyze data from systems like Jira, project tracking tools, and related databases to surface trends and risks across portfolio and operational planning efforts.
  • Identify, validate, and integrate new data sources that strengthen awareness of key business drivers.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance dashboards and reporting tools for better access to resourcing, execution health, strategic alignment, and operational excellence.
  • Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for engineering, product, and program management teams.

Operational Efficiency Projects

  • Lead projects using data insights to streamline operations through simplifying intake, improving resource tracking, and optimizing reporting.
  • Identify challenges or inefficiencies in multi-functional processes and collaborate with team members to co-create solutions.
  • Help improve core planning and execution rhythms by contributing to systems, tools, and cadences that support long-term scale.
  • Proactively look for ways to reduce overhead and improve transparency across the platform organization.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Background

  • 3–5 years in business operations, analytics, strategy, or consulting—preferably in a SaaS or platform-focused tech company
  • BS or equivalent experience in a technical, analytical, or business-related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus

Data & Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms for analyzing and visualizing operational data
  • Experience turning unstructured or siloed data into clear, decision-supporting insights
  • Comfort working across large, sometimes ambiguous datasets to spot trends or gaps

Operational Insight

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements that lead to measurable efficiency or clarity gains
  • Experience owning or contributing to projects that enhance how organizations plan, implement, or report

Communication & Influence

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor insights to technical and non-technical audiences alike
  • Effective interpersonal skills and at ease working with multi-functional collaborators and senior team members

Initiative & Follow-Through

  • A self-starter with a solid sense of ownership and the ability to manage projects independently
  • Comfortable navigating evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment
