What Will You Do

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance services that power intelligent search and content understanding across Adobe products.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, machine learning experts, product managers, and designers to deliver AI-driven search experiences that delight users.

  • Contribute to the architecture of the Content AI platform, ensuring it is robust, extensible, and secure.

  • Analyze system performance and user behavior to continuously improve relevance, latency, and engagement.

  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python.

  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques.

  • Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, distributed systems and microservices.

  • Solid understanding of cloud-native development (preferably on Azure).

  • Familiarity with observability practices including monitoring, logging, and tracing.

  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot) or a demonstrated willingness to learn and integrate them into daily workflows is required.

  • Ability to investigate and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.

  • A commitment to high-quality engineering, with attention to detail in both development and testing.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Lucene, vector search) or information retrieval systems.

  • Exposure to machine learning or natural language processing concepts.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as containers, orchestrators, and cloud providers.

  • Experience with build management tools.

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions like New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana
