The Opportunity

ColdFusion is used to build powerful server-side web applications very quickly, with much less code than other technologies such as Java, ASP, PHP etc. To propel the platform forward and position it at the forefront of innovation, the Adobe ColdFusion team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to help certify and test the next generation of ground-breaking features.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with a dynamic team of ColdFusion engineers to successfully test innovative features that propel the platform forward.
  • Author and implement detailed test plans for flawless feature certification.
  • Develop and optimize automation workflows for rigorous feature testing.
  • Engage with the passionate ColdFusion community, responding to user queries and collaborating to improve platform capabilities.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A proven Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or higher.
  • Advanced coding experience in Java/ColdFusion, showcasing your ability to compete at a global level.
  • Strong skills in programming, problem-solving, and troubleshooting with a proven track record.
  • Experience with application servers, web servers (IIS, Apache), and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) is strictly required.
  • Exposure to Windows and non-Windows platforms, including Linux, and Mac.
  • In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, and other AI-powered testing tools.
  • Highly motivated with a drive to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
