Individual ContributorThe Product Consultant for Adobe Learning Manager (ALM) is part of the Launch Advisory Services team and is responsible for onboarding our customers. The Product Consultant is a key member who acts as an advisor to our customers. He/She would be instrumental in understanding customer requirements, and working with internal Adobe teams to effectively onboard the customer. Ideally, this person comes with a background in Learning Consulting, and has implemented SAAS-based Learning Management System.
Key Skills
1. Determine Customer Requirements
The Product Consultant is primarily responsible for matching the customer's business requirements to ALM's capabilities, and deriving the best possible solution and methodology. Demonstrated experience conducting discovery workshops to identify techno-functional requirements for SAAS systems, preferably LMS/CMS is required.
2. Customer Engagement
As the primary "face of Adobe" in the Onboarding phase - the Product Consultant would need to be fully competent in managing customer expectations, and working with various customers at different levels of the organization. The Consultant should have a proven track record of managing customers and end-to-end implementation of SAAS solutions. He/She will have to work quickly to establish trust as an advisor on the engagement. Strong consulting and presentation skills.
3. Program Management
This role will require the incumbent to work on multiple projects at various stages of onboarding in parallel. He/She must be able to manage their own schedules, as well as their team's schedules to ensure success of the projects. Effectively communicate the project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to various stakeholders.
4. Learning Technology and Learning Domain Expertise
The incumbent must be familiar with the technologies that drive our learning solutions - beyond a conversational level. The ability to "translate" business requirements to implementation paths is critical.
5. Stakeholder Management
The Product Consultant is responsible for managing internal stakeholders - working with various teams in Adobe and bringing in their expertise as required. They will need to demonstrate a level of competence in having "convincing conversations" with senior leadership both internally within the ALM teams and at the Adobe level.
