The Adobe Analytics platform processes over 120 billion events per day and provides reporting data to customers worldwide. The Adobe Analytics team is looking for a computer scientist to develop high-performance services using Big Data solutions in an existing team for enterprise customers worldwide.

What You'll Do
Architect and implement large-scale, distributed systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams across Adobe.
Drive adoption of modern technologies and frameworks across teams.
Mentor engineers across teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Represent the team in architecture forums and contribute to open-source or internal enablement efforts.
Ensure operational excellence through DevOps practices, observability, and continuous improvement.
What You Need To Succeed
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of delivering impactful systems.
Deep expertise in Java and distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams).
Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
Passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
Experience with cloud-native architectures and multi-cloud environments
Cloud provider automation, ex. AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM Templates, Troposphere, Terraform, Heat Templates, etc.
Exceptionally good problem-solving skills, ability to deep-dive to find the root of the problem
Nice To Have
Experience with Scala.
Experience with build and release tools such as Jenkins or Argo.
Exposure to log aggregation tools (e.g., Splunk, Fluentbit).
Experience with monitoring solutions like New Relic, Datadog, or Runscope.
Fluency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Previous experience consulting or working directly with customers.
Experience automating build and release processes.
