Adobe Stock Analytics & Insights is hiring a senior data science engineer to build and maintain the data foundations that power our product and marketing decisions. You will design, implement, and own the pipelines, models, and metrics that feed dashboards, experiments, and growth analyses, working closely with product, marketing, and data science partners.

What you'll Do

  • Design, build, and scale reliable ELT pipelines in Databricks (Spark + Delta Lake) that feed our core tables and dashboards.
  • Develop and own a governed dbt model layer and shared metric definitions, enabling truly self‑serve analytics.
  • Improve data quality, performance, and cost efficiency through automated testing, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Translate business questions into data solutions; deliver clear narratives and visualizations that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention decisions.
  • Champion standard methodologies and mentor teammates, setting technical direction for the Stock analytics engineering function.

What you need to succeed

  • 6+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles within product‑led or e‑commerce environments.
  • Expert SQL and Python, with hands‑on experience in Databricks / Spark and Delta Lake.
  • Proven success creating dimensional data models and documentation with dbt (or similar) that scale across teams.
  • Familiarity with growth metrics, cohort analysis, A/B testing, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • A problem‑solving mentality: you work autonomously, communicate clearly, and build trusted collaborator partnerships.
  • A passion for inclusive collaboration and continuous learning.
  • BA/BS Degree required.

Nice to have

  • Experience building dashboards and conducting analysis
  • Background in building usable data foundations for Product Analytics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $128,600 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
