We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join the GenStudio Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, high-impact software solutions. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and influence the technical direction of GenStudio.
What You'll Do
- Architect and design complex, interlinked systems with a forward-looking perspective.
- Lead development reviews and own designs that impact the fundamental architecture of GenStudio.
- Make architectural decisions and simplify complex requirements into scalable solutions.
- Define and establish code standards, test strategies, and automation technologies.
- Lead code reviews and refactor complex areas to improve maintainability and performance.
- Share programming expertise across multiple engineering domains and resolve high-complexity issues.
- Choose or build frameworks and libraries to accelerate team velocity.
- Regularly publish knowledge through white papers, architectural documents, or enablement sessions.
- Mentor and coach engineers across teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
What you need to succeed
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of technical leadership.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Deep domain knowledge in system design, architecture, and scalable software development.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages and modern development frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical strategy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and functions.

- Experience mentoring senior engineers and shaping engineering culture.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and evangelize new technologies.
- Experience with building GenAI-first applications.
- Contributions to industry forums, conferences, or open-source communities.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
