People Manager

As a Senior Manager on the Experience & Engagement (XE) Insights & Analytics team, you’ll support and grow a talented team of data scientists working to enhance the user experience and drive meaningful business outcomes across the Home ecosystem—a suite of web and desktop surfaces that reaches 15 million monthly active users.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and nurture a team of 4–6 Data Scientists, encouraging a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Collaborate with teams across geographies to align on priorities, influence roadmaps, and drive data-informed decisions.

  • Oversee analytics efforts across both product and growth initiatives, ensuring insights lead to improved user experiences and measurable business outcomes.

  • Guide your team in solving complex business problems through rigorous analysis, experimentation, and storytelling—while contributing hands-on when needed.

  • Represent your team’s work to senior leadership, clearly communicating insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Ensure outstanding analytics results through code reviews, standard methodologies, and scalable data solutions.

  • Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and access to technical and soft skills training.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years in data science or a related field, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Solid foundation in experimental design and statistical analysis, including A/B testing and causal inference.

  • Hands-on experience working with large-scale data and platforms such as Databricks, Spark, or Hadoop.

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity in building and maintaining data pipelines.

  • Demonstrable ability to translate complex data into clear insights and influence decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Track record of delivering impactful, data-driven solutions in fast-paced, multi-functional environments.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $268,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
